I’m Maryah (muh-RYE-uh), a former educator turned creative strategist who seeks inspiration for new ideas while uplifting cultural identities and communities in the process. I believe that the best way to escape competition is through authenticity and there is no better way to understand trends and culture than being immersed in them.

As a former elementary school teacher, it’s education that plays a leading role in every step of my creative process. Through captivating social content, strategic brand alliances, and community involvement, it’s my mission to redefine the standard of authentic connection and influence between brands and their audiences.

With a rapidly growing social following of 50K, garnering over +20 million views, a debut picture book published by Penguin Random House and partnerships with industry giants like Headspace, Uniqlo, New Balance and SONOS, my creative strategist expertise knows no bounds.

Launching its debut plant-based deodorant line, ‘Dove Care by Plants’, Dove tapped Maryah to creatively strategize and host an immersive social campaign and IRL activation for leading influencers, tastemakers and beauty editors.

A driving force in collaboration with Headspace's creative, social, and marketing teams, Maryah was tasked with reinvigorating the wellness and mental health content for 5 million+ subscribers. Harnessing the pulse of social trends and cultural shifts, she catalyzed and hosted the Webby-Award winning series, 'Plant Wisdom’.

In the wake of Uniqlo’s ‘RE.UNIQLO’ initiative, a sustainability campaign highlighting the repurposing and recycling of Uniqlo garments, Maryah collaborated seamlessly with Uniqlo's social, creative and marketing teams. Maryah was tasked with ideating and hosting IRL activations and strategizing culturally relevant social content.
